Bring whatever craft you are currently working on and socialize with other crafters!

Iwo Jima Anniversary Documentary Screening


Thursday, March 26th at 2 pm
in the Multipurpose Room 
In honor of the anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima,
we will be watching a documentary with testimonials of veterans who fought in this part of WWII.
This documentary was originally released in 1996 by PBS and is approximately 50 minutes long.

 

 

Learn About the Library Tours


Wednesday, April 1st from 1 to 5 pm and
April 8th from 5 to 8 pm 

Reserve time slot to get a tour of the library, a lesson on how to use the catalog,
and an overview on all the things that the Willmar Public Library has to offer!
These tours can last anywhere from a half hour to an hour, depending on how much you want to learn!
You can register as an individual or in a group, though we do ask that there be no more than five people per group.

Join us to learn about the Seed Library and get some helpful tips on container gardening!

Cozy Book Club


Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30 pm
in the Multipurpose Room 
During Cozy Book Club, participants can come and go at any time! Curated for those who want low-stress socialization,
all are encouraged to bring the book they are currently reading and even a blanket, cushion, or pillow!
If a patron just wants to come to read with others and not talk before or after, we welcome them to!
Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Paper Quilling with Meredith Semel

in the Multipurpose Room 

Visiting artist Meredith Semel will be giving at class on paper quilling!
To register for this class, as there are a limited amount of spots available,
we ask that people either call the library or follow this link.

Willmar Public Library Makerspace

Register here to use our Makerspace equipment. Equipment must be used in the library and consumable materials are not supplied.
Makerspace users must agree to the
Makerspace Policy and complete training on safety and equipment use. Reservations required.

Access the Seed Library in the Willmar Public Library during regular hours.
