Book & Cook: Dragons Love Tacos
Thursday, September 4 at 4 pm
Calling all kids who love books and food! We will read a picture
book as a group, followed by making a simple recipe. Best for
young chefs in grades K-3. This month, we’re making tacos!
Children’s Matinee:
Snow White
Friday, September 5 at 4 pm
Pop in on the first Friday of the month to watch a kids’ movie matinee! Popcorn included.
STEMtastic Thursday:
Bottle Rockets
Thursday, September 11 at 4 pm
Transform a bottle into a rocket and see whose flies the highest!
Best for ages 7-12, though younger ones are welcome with
adult help.
Pokémon Club
Tuesday, September 16 at 4 pm
Pokémon fans unite! We’ll have a variety of Pokémon activities
available while streaming episodes. This event is bi-monthly
(every other month) on the 3rd Tuesday. For September,
we’re doing Perler bead Pokémon!
Homeschool Hour:
Bean Mosaics
Wednesday, September 24 at 2 pm
Homeschoolers are welcome to join us for a themed activity
and hangout! In September, we’ll design our own mosaics
out of beans. For kids ages 5-12.
ECFE at the Library
Friday, September 26 at 10 am
Sing songs, read books, and make crafts with
Willmar’s ECFE teachers!
Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Drop-Off Event
Friday/Saturday, September 26/27
Drop off anytime Friday until 5:30 pm
Get your stuffed animal ready for a sleep over at the library!
We will read a bedtime story, make a craft, and then our
human friends say goodnight to their stuffed animals.

Pick up your stuffed animal, along with a photo album of
their night at the library! Who knows what kind of mischief
they’ll get into…
